Some tablets will allow you to add extra storage (up to 32GB) by using the microSD card slot and thus ideal if you are storing a large amount of movies, music and other media. OS and Apps Operating systems and applications vary between the different tablets as they can have their advantages and disadvantages. The Apple iPad uses its own operating system called 'iOS' that has thousands of applications but does however lack support for Adobe Flash. Whereas, tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab and ASUS EeePad Transformer is using Google Android that also has many applications and is open source.
