+ No problems. Using on old Z68XP-UD3 board that's been on 24/7 for the last 5-years or so, Ivy Bridge I7, with onboard Intel Raid 0 ... 2x 4TB on 2x SATA II ports and with XTS 256bit Bitlocker. I wanted something with high workload rating so I can run some vhdx compact scripts every so often, and good sequential read to restore to SSD's quickly, and reasonable write-speed. (I use this Raid 0 array as a large backup / sorting cache). I've put it in those vibration dampening heat-sink 5 1/4" to 3 1/2" adapter thingies in the hope of additional longevity. Not noticed noise or heat or any reported problems. From memory, on my system, I think sequential read rate on large VHDX files to a SATA III SSD was about 350MB/Sec but probably a board/chipset (+ Bitlocker) etc. limit rather than the drives' potential upper limit in Raid 0 for these kinds of files, I'm guessing. I still have 2x 1TB WD drives (maybe blacks - I forget - but non-pro I think) in Raid 0 that have been on 24/7 for years without issue, so I hope the Iron Wolf Pro's can match that and do even better. So far (had them 1-week) so good. Speccy reports a SMART temp of 24C.
- Still expensive ... i.e. WD Golds promise much higher workloads and MTBF though not quite the same performance across the board for not a huge amount of money more. Strict budget and desire to save a bit of precious time made me consider WD Reds & Seagate Iron Wolf Pro's instead ... over-all for my needs I figured Iron Wolf Pro's to be the most suited though I have to hope I'm not unlucky with drive failure and I don't know how they stack up against the others in reality for that metric. I am biased toward WD so I had to exercise objectivity based on current known data in order to go with these, this time.

+ I was debating paying the extra £38 for the Pro version but the 5 year warrenty instead of 3, the 2 year data recovery programme and the fact it is a 7200rpm with more cache and faster tranfers rates swung it for me. I fitted a pair to a Buffalo Linkstation LS520D NAS which probably is not going to get the best out of the drives and they worked flawlessly.
- Slighly more noisy than the standard Segate 2TB desktop drives that were fitted by Buffalo to the NAS, but not terrible by any means.

+ Serious storage! Like the 2 year data recovery service and the 5 year warranty after a previous disastrous (pc) HD failure. Seem pretty fast but only been in operation in a NAS for a few days
- Quite 'clunky' as they operate so you wouldn't want these in a quiet environment.
