Cooling

With the most comprehensive cooling options ever, the ROG Strix Z490 is configurable via Fan Xpert 4 or the UEFI BIOS. A bundled fan bracket and additional MOS fan provide additional cooling to areas around the VRM as you push your build to its limits. Additional cooling support is provided thanks to the U-Shaped heatpipe for rapid heat transfer, and high-quality thermal pads to transfer heat from the inductor and phase array to the heatsink. A dedicated fan bracket allows you to mount an additional fan to accelerate the airflow, and push the platform as far as you desire.
