Meet Samsung 980 M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe 2.0 SSD - Samsung's first DRAMless NVMe SSD with the latest V-NAND and Pablo controller. Built to last, the SSD provides reliable performance and optimised efficiency. Utilising PCIe 2.0 & HMB (host memory buffer), the 980 can link directly to the DRAM of the host for improved performance. Intelligent TurboWrite region of up to 160GB improves performance by utilising a variable SLC buffer that expands depending on the workload. 'Full Power Mode' keeps your SSD active which can be enabled through software. For effectively dissipating heat, the SSD features a nickel coated controller and heat spreader.
