First on the winner's list is the UE43TU7100 from Samsung. An excellent choice for its price range, the UE43TU7100 features impressive sharpness and detail complimented by a tonally balanced display. This entry-level model has a Tizen operating system which is clean, intuitive and features a range of apps on the home menu. Whilst this TV may not have the contrast range of higher-end models, the blacks are surprisingly deep for a TV at this price range.

Best 48-50in TV under £1000 - Samsung UE50TU8500

Coming in at just £499 is the Samsung UE50TU8500. This Smart 4K TV provides quality UHD content with Dynamic Crystal Colour. Packed with features such as Game Enhancer and Ambient mode, we agree that this is a fantastic option for those with a budget of £500! For a mid-range TV, the TU8500 features a gorgeous design with a thin black bezel and discrete logo, whilst it may not be as slim as some higher-end TVs, it's definitely thin enough to look smart when mounted against a wall.

Best 48-50in TV over £1000 - Sony KD-48A9

Sony's first 48-inch OLED TV grabbed this title, coming in at £1799. This 4K UHD OLED TV combines Sony's most powerful Picture Processor X1 Ultimate™ with Android TV™ to give you exceptional picture quality and smart home integration. Although on the more expensive side, the KD-48A9 is the perfect option for a sub-55 inch TV. Features including strong sound, a great app selection and brilliant picture quality.

Best 55-58 in TV under £1000 - Samsung UE55TU8000

The stunning Samsung UE55TU8000 takes the title at 55" in size thanks to its brilliant HDR picture, tonal detail and more. Plenty of features can be found on this TV such as Google and Alexa voice assist, Game Enhancer and Ambient Mode. The Crystal Display brings pure colour, sharp contrast and brightness that are right up there with 4K resolution. Get yours from Box for just £549.

Best 55-58 in TV over £1000 - Philips 55OLED805

With excellent visuals and strong sound, the Philips 55OLED805 grabs the crown as best TV in its size range over £1000. The thin metal frame and blush bezels definitely make for a modern looking OLED. With stunningly crisp and detailed pictures complemented by brilliant audio, it's a great choice for those who want to update their TV at a lower price tag than its counterparts.

Best 65in TV under £2000 - Sony KD-65XH9005

Quoted as "One of the best performance-per-pound TVs you can buy", the Sony KD-65XH9005 features excellent HDR handling, vibrant colours and brilliant motion processing. This 4K UHD TV combines Sony's most powerful Picture Processor X1 Ultimate™ with Android TV™ to give you exceptional picture quality and smart home integration. We love its slim design and various connectivity options including four HDMIs and three USBs- plus optical and headphone outputs!

Best 65in TV over £2000 - Philips 65OLED805

The superbly sharp Philips 65OLED805 is a pack a punch when it comes to performance and looks. With Ambilight to extend your onscreen action onto the wall behind, it looks fantastic and helps the display seem even bigger! Sound is just as important as picture, and Philips haven't cut corners with this one. The impressive sound system is perfect for those who like listening to music on their TV sets and playing games.

Are you ready to join the world of 8K TVs? Coming in as the Best 8K TV of 2020 is the Samsung QE75Q950TS.
