Load Balancing Routers at BOX

With a Load Balancing router, gone are the days of your router struggling to give enough *bandwidth* to each device in your business. Load Balancing routers generally accept at least two connections, with the higher end versions offering many more, enabling them to distribute traffic over the available connections. This means they are able to support multiple users and devices at the same time, improving your network bandwidth speed and overall experience. For example, if you’re trying to have a conference call, while your colleague is downloading a large file, your load balancing router would route your conference call traffic through the first connection, while diverting your colleagues’ download through the second, giving both of you optimal performance. Despite this, don’t be fooled into thinking a load balancer will give you twice the connection. Instead, a load balancing router makes your Internet usage more efficient, giving you the ability to make use of the capacity of two (or more, depending on your router) connections at the same time.

Another benefit of a load balancing router is their ability to automatically detect a loss of connection and reroute this via another channel. This can be vital for businesses, who rely on constant access to the Internet, and for who a drop in connection could produce detrimental effects for.

As the demand for bandwidth efficiency and performance increases through data hungry end users and businesses increasingly reliant on high performing Internet services, a Load Balancing router allows traffic to be shared across multiple Internet connections giving you the best out of your Internet connection, while protecting you from any connection failures.

We have a great range of load balancing routers from DrayTek and TP-Link for any business requirement.
