How to find the right ink cartridge for your printer

Find ink cartridges by printer model

The easiest way to find out the correct ink cartridge that you will need for your printer is to find the model of the printer then use our search by printer box at the top of this page. If you do not know the model then you usually will find it is displayed on the front of the printer or on the back on a sticker.

Once you know the model name simply enter it into our printer search box and hit go. We will display a list of all the printers that match your search so you don’t have to enter the full printer model name - part of it will do fine. Once you see your printer in the search results click it to view all the ink cartridges or toner cartridges we stock for your printer.

Find ink by your cartridge model

Another great way to find ink cartridges is to look for the model name or number of the cartridge you need to replace. These are often printed inside the printer, in the documentation that came with your printer or on the cartridge itself. Once you have the cartridge model name or number simply type it into the main search box at the top of our site - we will then display all of the products that match this part number.

Should I use compatible or original ink?

We stock a choice of original ink cartridges made by the manufacturer of the printer or compatibles made by third party companies. Compatible cartridges are often a fraction of the price of originals whilst still offering great print quality. However, if you want the best of the best you can opt to stick with the original cartridges which although sometimes costing a premium can be worth the outlay due to offering longer lasting and more fade resistant inks for example or a higher quality finish.
